Ad Hoc

Find out day-of!

Within crisis committees, there is a special type of committee known as Ad-hoc, in which delegates are introduced to their topic of discussion during or right before their first committee session. This type of committee allows delegates to test their innovative and problem solving skills in situations where they are tasked to deliberate upon an unknown or unforeseen issue, mimicking very real world scenarios that the UN experiences. Ad-hoc committees are typically for the most advanced Model UN delegates, as Ad-hoc delegates are notified of their committee very shortly before the first committee session.
