What are Specialized Committees?

Specialized committees are known for their unusual rules and their blending of crisis and General Assembly committee styles. The unconventional rules force delegates to think outside the box to find new solutions to problems that they may not have faced before. At SciMUNC Jr., delegates in Specialized committees will be continually challenged with crises selected by their backroom staff and asked to find ways to resolve them. To that end, delegates will collaborate on directives to quickly and effectively address any problems that may arise during committee sessions.
